Finance Manager, Live Services Revenue Forecasting

The Finance Manager, Live Services Revenue Forecasting will support revenue forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis for the PlayStation Studios (PSS) live services portfolio. This role partners closely with Finance, Product Management, Studios, Analytics, and Commercial teams to help drive business decisions across a portfolio of first-party live service titles.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Live Services Revenue Forecasting and may be based remotely within the US or from one of the following PlayStation Studios locations: San Mateo, CA; London, UK; or Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Support revenue forecasting and financial analysis across the PlayStation Studios live services portfolio.
  • Maintain and enhance forecasting models, leveraging new methodologies and automation tools where appropriate.
  • Support key financial planning cycles, including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, budgeting, and mid-range planning.
  • Analyze game performance and communicate insights, trends, opportunities, and risks to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop scenario analyses and business cases related to monetization strategies, promotions, content plans, and investment decisions.
  • Partner with studio, product management, analytics, and live operations teams to align forecasting assumptions and reporting.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of licensing, marketing, development, and operational costs on portfolio performance.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks within gaming and live services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance certifications are a plus.
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or subscription/live service business models preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with forecasting automation tools, machine learning applications, or advanced analytics methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Interest in gaming, digital entertainment, and live service business models.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$139,900-$209,900 USD
