Lead Analyst, Forecasting & Pipeline Management

Job Descriptionย 

Seeking aย Leadย Analyst, Forecasting & Pipeline Management to own and drive forecasting accuracy and pipeline health across the go-to-market organization. This roleย is responsible forย establishingย and executing a structured forecasting cadence, leading pipeline reviews, and ensuring pipeline hygiene to support reliable revenue visibility.ย 

This is an individual contributor role with strong cross-functional influence across Sales,ย RevOps, Finance, and Systems teams. The roleย operatesย independently, leading key processes and initiatives that directlyย impactย forecast accuracy and pipeline effectiveness.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Forecastingย 

  • Establish and formalize the forecasting cadence, process, and operating modelย 
  • Define inputs, timelines, and governance for forecast submission, consolidation, and reviewย 
  • Consolidateย andย validateย forecasts across regions and segments to ensure accuracy and consistencyย 
  • Develop standardized forecast views (commit, upside, risk) aligned to revenue targetsย 
  • Deliver clear visibility into forecast performance, gaps, and risk areasย 
  • Produce executive-ready insights, including variance analysis, risk identification, and gap-to-target actionsย 

Pipeline Managementย 

  • Lead pipeline review and inspection cadences with Sales leadershipย 
  • Analyze pipeline health (coverage, conversion, velocity, aging, slippage)ย 
  • Identifyย pipeline gaps and risksย relativeย to targets and historical benchmarksย 
  • Establish and enforce pipeline hygiene standards (data accuracy, activity, stage management)ย 
  • Drive accountability across Sales teams toย maintainย high-quality pipeline dataย 

Insights & Analyticsย 

  • Develop reporting on pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, and performance trendsย 
  • Build pipeline analytics (conversion rates, stage progression, deal velocity)ย 
  • Translate data into actionable insights on risks, opportunities, and drivers of performanceย 
  • Support QBRs, pipeline calls, and executive reporting with data-driven insightsย 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Ownershipย 

  • Partner with Sales, Finance,ย RevOps, Marketing Ops, and Systems teamsย 
  • Align on forecastingย methodology, pipeline definitions, and reporting standardsย 
  • Ensure consistency and data integrity across systems (SFDC, Clari, territory management tools)ย 
  • Lead process improvements and initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibilityย 
  • Serve as subject matter expert for forecasting and pipeline managementย 

Qualifications and Skillsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or related fieldย 
  • 8+ years in Sales Operations,ย RevOps, or Sales Analyticsย 
  • Experience owning forecasting processes and pipeline management cadencesย 
  • Strong understanding of pipeline metrics (coverage, conversion, velocity, slippage)ย 
  • Advanced Excel; experience with Salesforce (SFDC)ย required; Clari preferredย 
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI toolsย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsย 
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsย 
  • Strong communicationย and stakeholder influence skillsย 
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Sales,ย RevOps, and Financeย
