Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma history and identify suitable treatment modalities.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique experience.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that guide patients in processing their trauma, building coping strategies, and fostering healing in a supportive setting.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being.
  • Deliver crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate assistance when necessary.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources within the mental health community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential progress notes and documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and best practices within trauma therapy to ensure that our treatment methodologies are current and effective.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Nordic Behavioral and Psychological Center primarily serves a diverse patient population that includes individuals coping with various trauma-related disorders, PTSD, and complex trauma. Qualifications
