Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering clients a space to process experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed practices.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in trauma therapy through ongoing professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors, including individuals suffering from PTSD and complex trauma. You will engage with clients who have experienced a range of traumatic events, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a compassionate, client-centered approach to care.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure in the state as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • A passion for working with trauma survivors and a strong commitment to the principles of trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental presence.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and online communication platforms.
Preferred Experience

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates demonstrating strong skills in trauma therapies, excellent teamwork, and emotional intelligence will also be considered. Compensation and Benefits
