    • The Mid\-Sr. Transmission Planning Engineer develops\/supports\/builds tools in Python, SQL, and\/or MS Excel that automate the study process of analyzing output data flows from the model<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      \n GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

      • Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Power flow modeling experience with PSS\/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, MUST, TARA, and\/or PowerWorld<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Exposure to economic transmissionย market planning and analysis \- PROMOD, GridView, UPlan, or Plexos is a PLUS<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Well versed transmission interconnection application management and LGIA processesย <\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Understanding of electricity market policy and rules with respect to interconnection and transmission planning<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Working knowledge of high voltage EPC systems including High Voltage Substation and Transmission line modifications \/upgrades<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Experience working with ISOs (independent system operator) and\/or RTOs (regional transmission organization)ย <\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • Working knowledge of Utility\-scale renewable energy operations (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Battery Storage)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
