How much do remote temperature control jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 30, 2026, the average hourly pay for remote temperature control in the United States is $24.44, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $18.03 and $30.53 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay $2000 a day?

High-paying jobs related to remote temperature control, such as specialized consulting or engineering roles, can sometimes pay $2000 a day, especially for experienced professionals with advanced skills or certifications. These roles often require extensive expertise, project management, or working on complex systems in industries like HVAC, energy, or industrial automation.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in remote temperature control roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in remote temperature control often encounter challenges such as troubleshooting equipment from a distance, maintaining reliable connectivity with monitoring systems, and quickly responding to unexpected temperature fluctuations. Effective communication with on-site staff and a strong understanding of remote monitoring software are crucial to overcoming these obstacles. Staying updated on the latest technology and establishing clear protocols for emergency situations can help ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Can I make 200K doing HVAC?

Remote temperature control roles in HVAC typically do not pay $200,000 annually, as most positions in the industry offer salaries below that level. High earnings are usually associated with specialized skills, management positions, or owning a business, rather than standard remote HVAC jobs. Certifications and experience can influence salary potential, but reaching a $200,000 income remotely in HVAC is uncommon.

What is the difference between Remote Temperature Control vs Remote HVAC Technician?

AspectRemote Temperature ControlRemote HVAC Technician
CertificationsHVAC certifications, remote monitoring skillsHVAC certifications, troubleshooting skills
Work EnvironmentRemote monitoring, software managementRemote diagnostics, system repairs
Industry UsageBuilding automation, climate control systemsHeating, ventilation, air conditioning services

Remote Temperature Control specialists focus on managing climate systems remotely through software, while Remote HVAC Technicians perform diagnostics and repairs via remote access. Both roles require HVAC certifications and are integral to building climate management, but their daily tasks and work environments differ significantly.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A remote temperature control technician or specialist can earn around $10,000 per month through advanced skills in HVAC systems, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting. These roles often require technical knowledge, certifications, and experience rather than a traditional degree, and they may involve working with smart thermostats or climate control systems remotely.

What is a Remote Temperature Control job?

A Remote Temperature Control job involves monitoring and managing heating, cooling, or refrigeration systems from a remote location using specialized software or control panels. Professionals in this role ensure that temperature-sensitive environments, such as warehouses, laboratories, or commercial buildings, maintain optimal conditions. They may also troubleshoot issues, respond to alarms, and adjust settings to improve energy efficiency and safety. This job often requires familiarity with building management systems and strong problem-solving skills.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

High-paying roles related to remote temperature control or HVAC management typically do not reach $500,000 annually. Executive positions in large corporations, specialized engineering roles, or business owners in related fields may achieve such income levels, often requiring advanced skills, certifications, and significant experience. Most jobs in this sector pay well but generally do not reach this high annual salary without additional responsibilities or ownership stakes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Temperature Control Technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Temperature Control Technician, you need a solid understanding of HVAC systems, temperature regulation principles, and relevant technical training or certifications. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), remote monitoring software, and troubleshooting tools is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are standout soft skills in this role. These capabilities ensure optimal system performance, quick resolution of issues, and reliable climate control for client environments.

Job description

Job Summary

Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer focused on Remote Handling Special Components with expertise in modular hardware design for remotely operated systems.

This role is centered on the design, physical integration, and demonstration of remote handling technologies through full-scale mockups and prototype builds. The Senior Engineer will drive 1:1 scale integration efforts to validate interfaces, clearances, tolerances, and handling sequences-systematically derisking reactor maintenance strategies prior to deployment.

This position integrates remote handling requirements directly into component architecture and system interfaces to enable efficient assembly, maintenance, inspection, and long-term operability. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, rapid build-test cycles, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Modular Maintenance System Development

  • Apply lifecycle design principles including maintainability, inspectability, and decommissioning
  • Integrate remote handling requirements into hardware architecture and system interfaces
  • Develop and maintain interface control documentation supporting plant-level integration
  • Design, build, and evaluate 1:1 scale mockups and integration test articles to validate handling concepts
  • Develop structured test plans and acceptance criteria for full-scale demonstrations
  • Coordinate test readiness reviews with QA and Systems Engineering
