In this role, you will be the bridge between complex engineering technology and real-world application, directly influencing the proficiency of steel detailers and fabrication managers worldwide. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the "Model through Erection" workflow, using cutting-edge tools like AI and Trimble Learn to empower customers to build faster, safer, and more sustainably.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
• Drive customer success by independently delivering high-impact onboarding for Tekla Structures, Trimble FabShop, and the Trimble VDC bundle (SysQue and SmartTools) across virtual and self-paced platforms.
• Execute a "Digital-First" training strategy to help customers master Tekla Structures via virtual self-paced platforms, as well as virtual and in-person sessions.
• Collaborate as a Subject Matter Expert with Instructional Designers to update and innovate comprehensive curriculum using tools like Articulate 360 and AI.
• Optimize the Trimble Construction One workflow for clients, focusing on efficient detailing, connection application, and data accuracy for fabrication.
• Serve as a key customer-facing representative, translating complex business goals into tailored training solutions that solve real-world industry challenges.
• Actively manage and resolve advanced technical issues, identifying software enhancements and communicating feature requests to product teams via Jira.
Essential Skills & Experience
• 3-5+ years of direct industry experience using Tekla Structures or Trimble VDC (SysQue and SmartTools) to create production-ready fabrication BIM models.
• Expert-level technical command of:
  • Tekla Structures for structural steel or concrete, including components, complex connections, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous steel.

or
  • Trimble's VDC Pro+ for MEP detailing, 3D modeling, and fabrication, leveraging and managing SysQue's manufacturer content library within AutoCAD/Revit to create constructible, data-rich models.

• Proven ability to generate and manage fabrication deliverables such as shop drawings, BOMs, and CNC data (DSTV).
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead engaging training sessions for diverse audiences in both physical and virtual classrooms.
• Exceptional communication skills with a "Digital First" approach to mentoring and explaining complex modeling and drafting concepts.
Bonus Points For:
• Experience managing fabrication workflows via Trimble Connect, Trimble FabShop, and Tekla PowerFab.
• Familiarity with instructional design software such as Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, or Docebo.
• Deep understanding of industry standards like AISC, ASHRAE, ASPE, MCAA,NISD, and SMACNA .
