This full-time position allows you to work remotely while delivering essential care to clients dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This position requires you to operate within an outpatient office setting, utilizing remote technologies to connect with clients. The flexibility of this role allows you to comfortably manage your schedule, working from home to reduce barriers that often hinder individuals from seeking help. Your regular hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ symptoms, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder manifestations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' individual needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.
• Educate clients and their families on various aspects of mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals for integrated care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously refine therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Advocate for clients' needs, addressing mental health stigma and promoting access to necessary resources.

This role specifically focuses on working with clients experiencing significant mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, from individuals seeking personal growth to those in crisis situations. Understanding their unique backgrounds and challenges is crucial to delivering effective mental health care.

• Must possess an active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Possess strong organizational and time-management abilities for effective workload management.

• Previous experience working with clients facing mood disorders or related issues.
• Training or certification in evidence-based therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT) is advantageous.
• Experience within a remote work environment and familiarity with teletherapy tools is preferred.

• Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
