Senior Scrum Master

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to drive key data and analytics initiatives within a global data engineering and business intelligence team. In this role you'll lead Agile ceremonies, coach cross-functional teams, remove roadblocks, and bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution. Job Type: Contract - 6 months, with potential for extension

Location: Remote (must reside in the CST or EST time zone)

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40-$48/hour on a W2 basis

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain well-defined backlogs, clear priorities, and shared team objectives
  • Track and communicate team performance metrics, delivery progress, and risks to stakeholders while proactively removing impediments
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and best practices
  • Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and support broader Agile transformation efforts

What Gets You the Job:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a technical or data-focused environment
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
  • Proven success leading cross-functional Agile teams, with strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent required, plus a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with BI, Data Warehousing, or Data Engineering and experience with Scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe preferred
