  • Engaging in regular case consultations to discuss complex cases with peers. Your commitment to continuous professional development will enhance the quality of care you provide.

  • Providing education and support to students and their families regarding mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources. Your role will empower them to navigate their path to wellness.

  • Staying informed about the latest research in mental health, ensuring that your practice reflects current evidence-based interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children, including adolescents who face mental health challenges that affect their school performance and home life. You will work closely with students to help them understand their feelings, develop resilience, and implement coping mechanisms necessary for a successful academic experience.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in social work principles and practices.

  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Maryland, affirming your professional qualifications.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in a school-based mental health setting or familiarity with the challenges faced by students is highly desirable. Proficiency in telehealth practice and the use of virtual communication tools will also set you apart.

In addition to a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 depending on experience, we offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
