Posting Number 01108 Position Title Student Assistant - Athletics Equipment Department Athletics: Administrative Position Summary
The Student Assistant- Athletics Equipment will provide assistance in three main areas of the equipment operation: inventory management, laundry operation, and distribution/collection of equipment.ย  With inventory management, the student will assist in counting, data entry, and storage of athletic equipment.ย  The Student Assistant - Athletics Equipment will assist in the laundering of athletic clothing and uniforms.
Education/Experience
Currently enrolled Stevenson University student in good standing with the University, both academically and judicially.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
  • Ability to work nights and weekendsย 
  • Must have computer skillsย 
  • Highly organizedย 
  • Self-starter and able to complete tasks on their own
  • Excellent communication skillsย 
  • Attention to detailย 
  • Knowledge and interest in sports and athletics equipment/operationsย

Physical Requirements
Light work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Keyboarding, standing and/or sitting, walking, talking and hearing. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal. Subject to both environmental conditions; activities occur inside and outside.
