• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs through a combination of structured interviews and standardized tools, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans that best support their specific circumstances.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit each student's unique preferences and challenges.
• Collaborate with students to establish clear and achievable therapeutic goals, regularly assessing their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure effectiveness.
• Offer flexible teletherapy options via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring accessibility for students with varied schedules or those who may have mobility issues.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and additional training opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

The primary clientele for this role consists of school-aged children and adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By nurturing a safe and trusting environment, you will empower these individuals to express their feelings, explore their thoughts, and develop coping strategies that facilitate personal growth and resilience.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the creation of a supportive and effective therapeutic alliance with students and their families.
• An empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach, particularly regarding sensitive topics related to mental health and personal experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain an effective caseload and support administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with school-aged populations and a familiarity with educational systems and challenges faced by children and adolescents in a school environment.
• A proven track record of delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and contributing to interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with teletherapy tools and platforms, demonstrating the ability to provide effective remote counseling services.
