Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to identify concerns and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

  • Work collaboratively with clients to establish measurable therapeutic goals and continuously monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Christus Healthcare Services, you will primarily work with a population that includes students facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Your expertise will guide them through their challenges, using therapeutic interventions that cater to the unique needs of this demographic. Qualifications
  • A current and active licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory; a Master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • A strong demonstration of empathy and a compassionate approach toward clients' life experiences and challenges.
  • Proficient organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle caseloads and maintain administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a school-based mental health setting is highly desirable, which strengthens understanding of student-specific challenges.
  • Familiarity with therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidenced-based practices is advantageous.
  • Experience with documenting and reporting treatments accurately is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
