Here's a summary of responsibilities:

The Manager, Stewardship designs and delivers high-quality, scalable stewardship experiences for mid-level, emerging, and major gift donors at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation (USOPF). Managing a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, this role ensures supporters feel recognized, valued, and informed through curated touchpoints, personalized communications, and meaningful impact reporting. Collaborating closely with the Stewardship Director, Stewardship Operations Director, Regional Directors, Trustee Engagement Director, and Major Gift Officers (MGOs), this role helps reinforce long-term philanthropic commitment by developing and orchestrating an impactful, manageable, creative and scalable stewardship plan.

Here’s how you’ll have an impact:

Stewardship Strategy & Execution (60%)

  • Collaborating with the Stewardship Director, Regional Directors, Trustee Engagement Director, and fundraising staff to develop and maintain annual stewardship strategy aligned with gift band expectations and donor intent.
  • Develop scalable yet personalized touchpoints, including milestone recognition, campaign updates, and curated experiences.
  • Partner with MGOs and Regional Directors to ensure coordinated donor engagement across cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship phases.
  • Lead execution of stewardship plan for mid-level and major gift donors working closely with the Stewardship Operations Manager and other team members to ensure seamless execution and impact reporting.
  • Maintain a stewardship calendar and ensure timely delivery of all donor touchpoints.
  • In collaboration with Stewardship Operations Manager, monitor and manage the process for ensuring timely payment of gift installments, contributing to the achievement of the annual revenue goal.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (25%)

  • Collaborate with Donor Engagement, Communications, and Events teams to integrate stewardship into broader donor engagement efforts.
  • Participate in planning cadences with Regional Directors, frontline fundraisers, and Strategic. Advancement team to align stewardship with campaign milestones, messages, and priorities.
  • Coordinate with the Stewardship Operations team to ensure onboarding and gifting are consistent with donor journey frameworks.

Systems & Operations (15%)

  • Track and analyze donor engagement metrics to inform strategy and continuously improve execution.
  • Utilize Salesforce and related systems to manage donor records, track stewardship activities, and support forward looking planning.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable tools, standardized templates, and onboarding guides to support efficient and consistent stewardship. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in donor relations, stewardship, or nonprofit fundraising
  • Proven success in managing donor relationships and delivering personalized engagement to donor populations 
  • Experience working with major gift portfolios and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and donor data management
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in donor-related matters
  • Appreciation for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement and the power of sport

Here's some more information you need to know:

  • Hiring pay range $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
