They assist startups with tasks such as entity formation, contract drafting, intellectual property protection, compliance, and fundraising. By working remotely, these lawyers offer flexible, cost-effective legal support to early-stage businesses, often leveraging digital tools and virtual communication to serve clients across different regions. Their expertise helps startups navigate complex legal landscapes while minimizing overhead costs.

Familiarity with contract management software, e-signature tools, and platforms like DocuSign or Clio is often required. Job description

$150K - $200K // 0.50% - 1.00% // San Francisco or Remote (North America, Europe)
Role
As our first and only product manager, you'll work alongside our founder to drive the evolution of Anara and shape how researchers work with AI. You'll build novel tools that will transform how scientific discoveries are made for decades to come.
As model intelligence accelerates, the ultimate form factor of agents for scientific research remains unwritten. We're looking for a product manager who combines deep technical understanding, genuine love for science, and strong product intuition. You should be equally comfortable discussing customer feedback with world-class researchers, debugging user workflows with engineers, and presenting product strategy to the team.
Your work might include:
  • Performing discovery through user interviews, session replay, data analysis, etc. and present findings to the team.
  • Translating cutting-edge AI advances into practical features for researchers.
  • Surfacing trends and insights from customer feedback to the team at large to inform product choices.
  • Optimizing existing flows to reduce friction, lower churn and increase conversion.
  • Working closely with the engineering team to ensure Anara remains the best way to do scientific research with AI.

You're likely a good fit if:
  • You are quick, scrappy and first and foremost a builder. Product at Anara moves lightning fast. We typically take features from idea to production in days, not weeks or months.
  • Have a combined 2+ years in product management and engineering, including at least 1 year as a professional engineer.
  • You have world-class design and product taste.
  • Have independently built and scaled a product to at least a few thousand users (e.g. a side project or open-source project).
  • Have worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with relatively little oversight.

Anara
Our goal is to achieve 100 years of scientific progress in the next 10 years. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for industry researchers and graduate students, using a combination of inventive research, design and engineering.
In two years, we've grown to millions of users across the world's most ambitious academic labs and R&D teams, we are fast approaching $10M in yearly revenue, and we raised $3M from Y Combinator and the founders of GitHub and Reddit.
We're a small, tight-knit team of 10 people with huge ambitions. As a founding member, you'll be instrumental in helping us scale revenue from $10M to $100M and then $100M to $1B+.
If you're excited by the idea of being a part of that, definitely apply.
We are remote-first with space in San Francisco where some team members work.
If you'd like to move to the US, we're more than happy to sponsor visas. If we make you an offer, we'll work with an immigration attorney to make sure everything goes smoothly.
We offer premium healthcare (medical, dental, etc.), flexible working hours and office space with a beautiful view of the San Francisco marina and Golden Gate bridge.
