Our Hospice Center serves clients dealing with severe mental health challenges associated with end-of-life care. • Conduct thorough and holistic assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that address clients’ emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to enhance client well-being.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including nurses, psychologists, and medical staff, to coordinate holistic care and facilitate multidisciplinary treatment discussions.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to understand the treatment process and navigate their emotional challenges effectively.
• Remain informed about current mental health research, trends, and developments, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele facing significant life transitions, primarily within a hospice care framework. You will work with individuals coping with terminal illnesses as well as their families, providing not only immediate therapeutic support but also long-term coping strategies that enhance quality of life. Your compassionate approach will help patients navigate emotional complexities, including grief, loss, and anticipatory bereavement.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current LCSW license in California.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with hospice or palliative care populations.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly in solution-focused and trauma-informed practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective and empathetic engagement with clients and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative treatment team.

• Familiarity with the hospice setting and understanding of end-of-life issues.
• Training in grief counseling and familiarity with the unique emotional needs of patients and families in crisis.
• Experience working in remote therapeutic environments and utilizing telehealth platforms.

• Competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually for full-time positions, or part-time compensation at USD 65,000 yearly.
