Job description

Co-Op Marketing Manager (Remote)

CBIZ has a client seeking a Co-Op Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This newly created position is the result of continued growth and offers a unique opportunity to shape and expand a large-scale franchise marketing program across North America.

In this highly visible role, you will lead regional and local marketing initiatives, partner with franchise owners and field teams, oversee marketing advisors, manage agency and vendor relationships, and drive the performance of advertising co-ops. You'll play a key role in helping independently owned businesses grow through strategic marketing, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Lead planning and execution of regional co-op marketing programs
  • Partner with franchise owners and field teams to drive market growth
  • Manage marketing budgets, media plans, and campaign performance
  • Oversee agency and vendor relationships
  • Analyze results and provide actionable performance insights
  • Lead and develop a team of Marketing Advisors
  • Facilitate franchisee meetings, planning sessions, and marketing reviews
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a franchise, multi-location, field marketing, or agency environment
  • Experience supporting franchise owners or multi-unit operators
  • Strong background in local marketing, media planning, and budget management
  • Ability to translate marketing data into business recommendations
  • Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Co-op advertising experience is highly desirable
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Fully remote position
  • High-impact leadership role
  • Growth-oriented organization
  • Opportunity to influence marketing strategy across dozens of markets
  • Competitive compensation: $115,000-$120,000 base salary plus 15% bonus
  • Approximately 25%-35% travel

If you enjoy partnering with business owners, leading teams, and driving measurable marketing results across multiple markets, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
