As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Recovery Wellness Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges that may impede their progress.
• Developing comprehensive service plans that outline actionable goals and strategic interventions based on individual client needs.
• Providing compassionate counseling and support to individuals and families facing various life challenges, facilitating practical strategies and coping mechanisms.
• Working collaboratively with clients to create personalized service plans that connect them with essential resources within the community.
• Offering crisis intervention services, risk assessment, and safety planning as necessary, ensuring clients’ immediate needs are addressed promptly.
• Coordinating with a network of community agencies and organizations to enhance service delivery and advocate for client rights.
• Participating in outreach activities to raise awareness about available services, promoting the well-being and empowerment of community members.
• Engaging in regular case conferences, team meetings, and staff training to foster a collaborative work environment and maintain professional growth.

Your work will primarily focus on vulnerable populations, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, families in crisis, and clients facing socioeconomic hardships. You will help guide your clients through systemic barriers, ensuring they have access to the supportive networks and resources they need to thrive. Your commitment to a trauma-informed approach will be crucial in building trust and rapport with clients, enabling them to engage with the therapeutic process.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of social justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate cultural competence and empathy in diverse client interactions.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• Prior work in a social service agency or healthcare environment, demonstrating familiarity with case management and counseling practices.
• Experience working with underserved populations and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by these groups.
• Proficiency in the implementation of evidence-based practices and familiarity with community resource databases.
