• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through interviews, clinical observations, and reviews of medical histories to evaluate the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting each patient's recovery.
• Deliver supportive counseling to patients and their families, providing guidance on adjustment issues and fostering emotional resilience throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's psychosocial needs and recovery goals.
• Assist patients in navigating community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance to help streamline their transition to independent living.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation who require psychosocial support. These patients often face complex emotional challenges and significant lifestyle adjustments. You will work with a diverse demographic, understanding their unique backgrounds and circumstances to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring you possess the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for social work practice.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within your state, validating your professional standing and capability to practice.
• Strong communication skills that allow you to effectively engage and establish trust with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or medical setting is highly preferred, particularly in working with detox or substance use disorders.
• A proven understanding of adjustment issues, coping mechanisms, and grief counseling relevant to individuals dealing with recovery from serious health challenges.
