Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach to suit each client’s individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all patient information is handled with care and confidentiality.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance the quality of care provided, sharing observations and strategies with fellow team members.

  • Stay current with developments in the mental health field to continuously refine your practice and improve therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals in the detox process, who may also experience co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. Our diverse patient demographics include adults from varied backgrounds facing a range of challenges. Your role will involve understanding their unique experiences and employing a compassionate and individualized approach to therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally working with mental health or substance use disorders, is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities.
