As a Remote Social Worker, you will provide virtual consultations, using video chat technology to connect with clients effectively.

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions remotely, utilizing video conferencing platforms in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Perform ongoing assessments of clients' treatment needs, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Develop and implement personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that focus on the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
• Work collaboratively with clients to cultivate improved coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication strategies.
• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations while ensuring minimal paperwork burden.

The Remote Social Worker will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults seeking detoxification support. This patient population often presents with varying degrees of mental health and substance use challenges. Your role will be critical in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys, providing emotional support, and facilitating access to additional resources when necessary.

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R) that allows independent practice without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to your licensure.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic nature and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Proficient in computer use, with stable High-speed Internet connectivity for effective remote service delivery.

While not mandatory, experience working in detox centers or with substance use populations is highly valued. Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities and experience utilizing telehealth platforms will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
