Job description

About the team
Zillow's mission is to make home a reality for more people. For millions of Americans, the path to homeownership feels out of reach, not because they'll never be ready, but because no one is helping them get there. Closing that gap is a top priority for Zillow, and it's the core focus of this team.
The Social Impact team drives product initiatives that remove real barriers to homeownership and advance housing equity. The team has built products like CreditClimb (credit score improvement through rent reporting) and down payment assistance discovery (surfacing eligibility for thousands of programs directly on listings). A major area of focus this year is buyer readiness: helping not-yet-ready buyers take concrete steps toward homeownership through affordability tools, credit improvement, and financial guidance.
With over 200 million unique users, Zillow has an unmatched opportunity to connect people with programs, tools, and pathways that create generational wealth and lasting stability for families who would otherwise be left behind.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive Social Impact product work at Zillow. This is a dual-scope role:
Company-wide social impact program leadership. You will drive social impact program initiatives across Zillow in partnership with the Social Impact Program team within Government Relations, connecting product teams with consumer-driven use cases and pushing impactful work forward across the entire company. This is a rare chance to influence product direction at company scale, not just within a single team.
Buyer readiness product ownership. You'll work with a dedicated engineering, design, and marketing pod to deliver products that measurably improve users' financial position and path to homeownership. The core product opportunity is helping buyers who are close to ready take targeted actions on credit, savings, and assistance programs that close their affordability gap faster.
You Will Get To
  • Drive social impact product strategy across Zillow, identifying high-leverage opportunities where product can make homeownership more accessible.
  • Translate housing policy priorities into product work with clear user value, partnering with teams across the Zillow Consumer organization, Zillow Home Loans, Rentals, Government Affairs, and more.
  • Own the buyer readiness roadmap, building products that help users understand their affordability gaps, discover assistance programs, and track progress over time.
  • Design AI-driven guidance experiences that coach users through improving their credit, building savings, and taking the specific steps that move them closer to homeownership.
  • Collaborate day-to-day with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Develop opportunity briefs and strategy documents that build conviction with leadership and secure investment.
  • Partner with the Social Impact Program team on company-wide recurring reporting and engagement with internal advisors.
