How will you fit into the big picture?
The Sr Mgr Pretzels & Snack Mix Portfolio Strategy leads high-impact strategic initiatives that shape consumer engagement and drive portfolio growth across Hershey's pretzel and snack mix brands. As a senior leader, this role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Insights, Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to develop portfolio strategies that accelerate growth, enhance brand performance, and strengthen competitive advantage.
This role leverages consumer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics to identify opportunities, guide long-term portfolio decisions, and translate strategy into actionable business plans. The Sr Manager influences senior stakeholders, drives enterprise-wide alignment, and helps shape the future of Hershey's salty snacks portfolio.
What will you do?
  • Lead portfolio strategy initiatives across the Pretzels & Snack Mix business to drive sustainable growth and strengthen brand performance.
  • Develop long-term portfolio, innovation, and commercialization strategies informed by consumer, customer, and marketplace insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create integrated business recommendations and align execution plans across the organization.
  • Translate data, research, and marketplace trends into actionable recommendations that support growth objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Assess portfolio performance, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend actions to optimize brand investment and resource allocation.
  • Influence senior leaders and key stakeholders through clear strategic thinking, compelling storytelling, and fact-based recommendations.
  • Drive marketing and innovation capabilities by evaluating emerging trends, methodologies, and tools that improve business effectiveness.
  • Support development of future growth platforms and strategic roadmaps that strengthen Hershey's leadership within salty snacks.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, Portfolio Strategy, Consumer Insights, Innovation, Consulting, or related business leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and business planning capabilities.
  • Experience leveraging consumer, customer, and market insights to drive business decisions.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
