Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ traumatic experiences and identify tailored treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the specific needs of patients.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma, fostering coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate help is available to those in need.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, facilitating optimal care continuity.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, provide therapeutic guidance, and facilitate their journey towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology applications necessary for documentation and client management.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work closely with a diverse team of mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be advantageous in effectively addressing patient needs and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
