Job description

Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$96-106 Hourly
Start Date:
ASAP
This is a remote role but you are required to work PST hours.
Our agency client, is looking for a Senior Designer with an elite level of craft to join a dedicated project team. This is not a traditional branding or product design (UX/UI) role. Instead, we need a "Campaign Architect"-someone who can take established tech brand elements and translate them into high-fidelity digital ads, social campaigns, and Out-of-Home (OOH) experiences.
The ideal candidate sits at the intersection of Visual Design and Motion Storyboarding, possessing the ability to design sophisticated "ad-like objects" that feel premium, modern, and tech-forward.
Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Campaign Execution: Design high-end assets for digital OOH (billboards), Instagram/social ads, and web-based marketing experiences.
  • Motion Storyboarding: Create detailed, frame-by-frame storyboards for UI-focused motion. You will design the "look and feel" of the motion, which will then be handed off to dedicated motion designers for production.
  • High-Level Craft: Execute pixel-perfect layouts with a heavy emphasis on modern typography, vector-based graphics, and clean UI aesthetics (avoiding photo-heavy or illustrative-only styles).
  • Ad-Centric Design: Focus on "objects" and "campaigns" rather than identity systems or long-form documentation.
Qualifications & Portfolio Requirements
  • Elite Visual Craft: A portfolio that demonstrates a clean, sophisticated, and minimal feel.
  • Motion Capability: You must show UI Motion (how a product's interface moves) rather than character animation or slow-moving video spots.
  • Agency Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced digital production or creative agency environment.
  • Tech-Forward Style: Expertise in working with tech brands. We are looking for designers who can make software interfaces look beautiful in a marketing context.
  • Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop). An understanding of After Effects logic is required for successful storyboarding.
What We are NOT Looking For:
  • UX/Product Designers: If your portfolio is primarily wireframes, user flows, and app utility, this is not the right fit.
  • Brand Identity Specialists: We are moving away from logo design and "system building" to focus on campaign execution.
  • Illustrators: While illustration is a plus, the core need is for slick, digital ad design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80.00 to $90.00. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
