What You'll Do
  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, including logic, sequencing, progress updates, and reporting.
  • Support project teams by preparing lookaheads, identifying schedule risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in baseline development and change order/time impact review processes.
  • Prepare internal and client-facing status reports that clearly communicate critical path, constraints, and variances.
  • Work with project teams to ensure alignment between schedule updates, resource planning, and earned value reporting.
  • Provide visual reporting through dashboards, charts, or analytics tools to simplify communication with stakeholders.
  • Support risk identification sessions and help maintain project-level risk registers.
  • Provide routine coaching to junior project controls team members when needed.
  • Identify schedule issues early and flag them for project leadership with enough time to act.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics and/or the project.

What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • BS or AA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related Professional Experience.
  • Scheduling Certification is strongly preferred: Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Experience updating schedules, analyzing critical paths, and communicating schedule impacts.
  • Deep understanding of baseline management, schedule change management, and time impact analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of project controls concepts (progress measurement, reporting, EV basics).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and general Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in commercial construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience with Procore, Oracle platforms, or Agile Construction concepts is a plus, not a must-have.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
