Job description

Job Title: Project Manager (Scheduling) Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $70.00 - 71.50 Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: Monday through Friday; core business hours approximately 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM; flexible start and end times; no overtime required

Responsibilities

  • Provide construction scheduling oversight and management using Primavera P6
  • Manage and integrate vendor project schedules into a master schedule
  • Track schedule adherence and hold vendors accountable to committed delivery dates
  • Monitor resource availability across vendor crews
  • Communicate scheduling impacts to internal partners
  • Provide oversight of schedule quality and compliance
  • Support design-build partnerships to help ensure projects remain on schedule and capital forecasts remain accurate
  • Receive schedules submitted by vendors and hold vendors accountable to submitted schedules
  • Report noncompliance or poor schedule quality
  • Maintain scheduling dashboards
  • Identify vendor performance issues and work directly with underperforming vendors

Requirements

  • Extensive Primavera P6 experience
  • Construction scheduling experience (non-negotiable)
  • SAP experience
  • Excel reporting capabilities
  • Business Objects reporting experience
  • Experience integrating and managing large project schedules
  • Ability to hold vendors accountable to schedule commitments
  • Strong communication with vendors and internal partners
  • Ability to identify and address performance issues
  • Willingness to push vendors regarding schedule compliance and accuracy
  • Minimum of five years of experience
  • Utility industry experience is preferred
  • No specific certifications or educational requirements
