Opti Mind Behavioral Health is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position allows you to provide vital mental health support while working from the comfort of your own home or our outpatient office in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. As an LPCC, you will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals navigating emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility for clinicians to balance their work-life commitments. However, our outpatient office in Santa Barbara offers an additional environment for team collaboration and client services when needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Utilize trauma-informed care techniques to cater to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health disorders. Our clients range from children to adults, each requiring personalized treatment that respects their unique circumstances. As a crucial part of our team, your skills will directly impact their journey towards recovery and mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid LPCC license in California, in good standing.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating expertise in clinical practice.
  • Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic interventions with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly valued.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits
