The Power Solutions Manager is responsible for the promotion and technical sales support of Generac Industrial products with a focus on the Modular Power System, large kW, and Clean Energy solutions ensuing vertical market project completion. Assists Generac Direct-Sales Teams and Distributors on specific projects and works directly with key electrical engineering and construction firms to achieve a Generac product being specified and sourced. Conducts training seminars for the electrical engineering community utilizing a pre-package curriculum.

Location: The primary location for this role is based in Corona, CA, however additional locations include Las Vegas and Phoenix may be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies key engineering firms and develops strategy to meet, educate and convince them to design the generator and transfer switch specifically around Generac or will accept Generac as "equal."

  • Identifies, educates, and transforms key engineering firms in understanding the MPS paralleling concepts and the value of working with Generac and the Distributor.

  • Promotes and provides technical onsite and remote sales support of Generac Industrial products with focus on the Modular Power System solution.

  • Directs the sales tools to strategically develop their respective geographical region and Dealer (e.g., PDSS, fly-ins, customer visits, Engineering Symposium, and Power Design Pro).

  • Provides real time voice-of-customer feedback to Sales Management and Product Management

  • Assists Direct-Sales Teams and Distributors on specific projects and works directly with key electrical engineering and construction firms to achieve a Generac product being specified and sourced.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Five (5) years technical sales/sales support experience or completion of Generac's sales rotational program (Market Focused Sales Manager).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Degree.

  • Power generation or engine generator paralleling experience.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionallylift upto 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.

Generac is committed to fair andequitablecompensation practices.The salary range for this role based remotely in Southern California is $124,000- $154,000.This compensation willultimately bein line with the location in which the position is filled.Final compensation for this role will bedeterminedbyvarious factorssuch as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills,certificationsand geographic location.This role is eligible for variablecompensationincludingshort-termand long-term incentives.
