Position : Automation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Overview:
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Terraform to streamline operational processes and increase efficiency within our organization. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for automation, design robust solutions, and deploy automation tools and technologies effectively.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT technology field.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Automation Tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) on Windows platform
Perl, Python and PowerShell Scripting
Minimum 3 years of experience with infrastructure management
Experience with Oracle .
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for automation using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Terraform. Few examples are Oracle database, WebLogic patching and day-to-day operational activities. Our environment comprises Windows servers.
Develop automation scripts, playbooks, recipes, and infrastructure as code templates using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Terraform. Implement automation solutions across various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Identify areas for optimization and enhancement and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Create detailed documentation for automation solutions, including Ansible playbooks, Chef recipes, Puppet manifests, and Terraform configurations.
