As a remote counselor, you will engage with patients from the comfort of their environments while utilizing our advanced telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate effective mental health treatment protocols both within the clinic and through external services.
  • Provide in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance overall clinical competency and awareness regarding mental health issues.
  • Quickly intervene in and de-escalate mental health emergencies, employing effective crisis intervention techniques.
  • Participate in commitment hearings when necessary, ensuring comprehensive representation and advocacy for patients.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to foster supportive therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress while ensuring all medical records remain confidential.
  • Verify mental health histories of patients, including assessments of previous psychotropic medications and interventions.
  • Prepare timely reports for clinical meetings and special projects to provide insights into patient care and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and mental health teams to facilitate appropriate post-release referrals that support continued care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
