• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans that address their goals for recovery.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to facilitate positive outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards while utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and counselors, to ensure integrated care that addresses psychological, emotional, and physical needs.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and innovative treatment modalities relevant to addiction recovery.

Your role will primarily involve supporting individuals dealing with substance use disorders within a detoxification context. This population may present with complex emotional challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression, necessitating a trauma-informed approach and a deep understanding of the recovery process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in the state of Georgia is essential.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
