Job description

Position Overview

Insight Therapies & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our expanding team. This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to work within a hospice care setting, where you will make substantial contributions toward enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families as they navigate challenging circumstances.

About the Organization

At Insight Therapies & Wellness Center, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional mental health services in a supportive outpatient clinic environment. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive healthcare services, with an emphasis on mental well-being. We are committed to maintaining the highest standard of care while fostering an empowering and nurturing workspace for our staff. By prioritizing mental health, we aim to positively impact the communities we serve in Henrietta, New York, and the surrounding areas.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work-life balance by offering a remote work environment. The Hospice Center setting fosters collaborative teamwork with a multidisciplinary approach, aligning mental health professionals, nursing staff, and spiritual caregivers in the pursuit of holistic patient care. You will be supported in utilizing evidence-based practices while having the autonomy to manage your schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth clinical assessments for patients, identifying their mental health needs and strengths.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the unique circumstances of patients in hospice care.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapies, to support patients and families.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, engaging in regular case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings to optimize patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health resources and coping strategies, providing ongoing support as they navigate the end-of-life process.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and developments in social work and hospice care to enhance your professional practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients receiving hospice care and their families. This population often experiences a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and grief, which requires a nuanced and empathetic approach. Your guidance and therapeutic interventions will be instrumental in helping individuals cope with difficult emotions and navigate this critical stage of life while maintaining dignity and hope.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
  • Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy and a strong understanding of best practices in hospice care.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on compassionate client interaction.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or a similar setting is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation and patient management.
  • Adeptness in conducting telehealth sessions, as this role may involve virtual interactions with clients and families.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and wellness, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance that covers you and your family.
  • Life and disability insurance to provide you with peace of mind.
  • Professional liability insurance, recognizing the importance of your work.
  • An employee assistance program that provides mental health support, reflecting our commitment to the well-being of our staff.
  • Minimized paperwork to allow you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.
  • A maintained caseload that supports a fulfilling and busy schedule.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Insight Therapies & Wellness Center, we believe in investing in our employeesโ€™ professional development. As an LCSW within our organization, you will have access to ongoing training, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that will build your skills and expand your career path. Whether you aim to specialize further in hospice care or aspire to take on leadership roles, we support your professional growth.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Insight Therapies & Wellness Center means becoming part of a collaborative, passionate team that is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing significant challenges. If you are looking for an organization that values your expertise, encourages your professional aspirations, and maintains a genuine focus on compassionate care, we encourage you to apply.
