Promenade Healing Retreat is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position to enhance our outpatient mental health services. As a member of our clinical team, you will provide vital support to clients facing a range of psychological challenges. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Promenade Healing Retreat, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clientsโ€™ mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans that adhere to evidence-based practices.
  • Provides therapeutic counseling sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring that clients feel validated and heard while actively participating in their healing journey.
  • Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date client records, documenting progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Engaging with clinical staff in regular meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and foster a culture of professional growth and teamwork.
  • Offering ongoing support and care for clients dealing with mental health diagnoses as well as substance use disorders, addressing their unique challenges and leveraging a compassionate approach.
  • Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to aid clients in understanding and overcoming their issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse clientele at Promenade Healing Retreat includes individuals from various backgrounds, facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. You will work with adults, families, and couples, helping them navigate struggles ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and trauma recovery. Your role will be vital in creating personalized therapeutic strategies that respect and incorporate each clientโ€™s unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with a diverse patient population in a mental health setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, allowing for effective interventions and coping strategies to be developed and implemented.
Preferred Experience

While not required, the following will enhance your application:
