We are currently seeking a Java Engineer + AWS Cloud Engineer for our client in the Financial Services domain. Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Location: Westlake, TX (Hybridโ€“2 weeks onsite per month/ alternate weeks, rest remote)

Salary: Up to $130,000/Annually or $65.00/Hourly

Role: Java Engineer + AWS Cloud Engineer

Primary Skills: Java, Angular

Role Description: The Java Engineer + AWS Cloud Engineer must have 6+ years of experience.

Must Haves:

- MUST HAVE pretty 50/50 full stack role. API developer with Java 17 primarily, Spring, Angular, JS, TS, HTML, CSS, and AWS.

The Expertise You Have:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree

- Proven experience in a full stack software development (Java/Angular) environment

- Proven experience as a principal software with different frameworks and system designs

- Proficient working in cloud-based architecture preferred (AWS, Azure, etc.)

- Hands-on experience in building web applications suite

Skills You Bring:

- 6-9 years of industry experience in development of enterprise solutions in multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.

- Expertise in APIs development, UIs, infrastructure, security, and new technologies.

- Expert software development experience with expertise in client-side technologies (Angular/React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and strong experience using Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, and web application technologies.

- Demonstrated knowledge in cloud technologies and practices, building and deploying applications using either AWS, Azure etc.

- Proven experience working on microservices and QA automation

- Ability to work both independently and in a team including technical and non-technical team members.

- Track record of critical thinking and translating business needs into technology solutions.

- Possess full-stack software development knowledge, understanding of software engineering principles and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions

- Demonstrated expert understanding of the agile development process and DevOps practices.

- Self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approach.

- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
