Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate symptoms associated with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that plans align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
  • Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans to reflect changes in their needs or circumstances.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health issues.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and treatment modalities for mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with clients suffering from mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications
  • Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
