Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, psychological state, and individual needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma and learn effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to guarantee integrated and holistic care for every patient.
  • Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediateand appropriate responses to patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential records of sessions and patient progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and participate in professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.
  • Stay current on research and best practices within the field of trauma therapy, continuously seeking to enhance your therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on working with individuals who present with complex trauma histories. Our patients often struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, you will directly contribute to their healing journey, making a meaningful impact on their emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.
  • Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to diverse client populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring patients feel secure.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of support and shared goals.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies and a solid understanding of the dynamics of trauma recovery will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
