Summary:

The Market President will spend 70% of their time focusing on achieving their Regional Banking team goals and the other 30% focused on accomplishing their Market President objectives to be Huntington's culture carrier within the market and inspire our team to live our purpose to make people's lives better, help businesses thrive, and strengthen the communities we serve. Also, a leader who embodies our purpose, values, behaviors and who understands how this combine to sustain our culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Holds the accountability and responsibility for all aspects of the market's performance, including operating income results.
  • Participates in strategic planning, special committees, and/or projects within the region, Regional Bank, or CRB as requested or assigned.
  • Develops and implements marketing plan/selling strategies for Regional Banking Team in the assigned market.
  • Manages, coaches and develops a team of Regional Banking Market Managers or Relationship Managers to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Deepens customer relationships through our Optimal Client Relationship (OCR) process and their interaction with the OCR leaders in the region through their local market leadership team.
  • Works with all colleagues in the region to leverage the power of our local market advantage. Is the "face" of Huntington in the local market and provides leadership in local and civic activities to strengthen our communities.
  • Looks out for Huntington colleagues through coaching, developing, and mentoring the leaders and colleagues across all segments within the market they lead.
  • Aligns strategy with our purpose and values. Inspires confidence and motivates colleagues across the organization to deliver on our purpose through interactions and tasks.
  • Committed to the greater good of the team and company and inspires the same in others.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related degree or equivalent leadership experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of senior level leadership experience
  • Must have proven record of community involvement and networking throughout centers of influence.
  • Must have the willingness and ability to partner with colleagues at all levels to work with urgency to drive results, commit to flawless execution, and focus on the priorities that will have the biggest impact.

  • Excellent customer service and must be highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels across the organization.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
