• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their needs, preferences, and goals.
• Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to encourage healing and foster long-term change.
• Assist clients in formulating and reaching therapeutic goals, promoting personal growth and self-awareness through tailored intervention plans.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.
• Regularly participate in team meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on advancements in mental health practices.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various life transitions. You will be expected to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the unique cultural, socioeconomic, and emotional backgrounds of clients, ensuring that care is accessible and tailored to their specific conditions.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and active LCMHC license in Vermont.
• Proven experience working with a varied demographic of clients in a clinical or similar setting.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Experience working remotely and utilizing telehealth resources effectively.
• Familiarity with case management software and electronic health record systems.
