As a Senior Software Developer at ICF you play the central role in driving innovation and using technology to drive connections through a multi-channel experience. ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support out TTB Project. In this role you will design, develop, and maintains secure, scalable full-stack solutions supporting the modernization of the myTTB platform. Build Java-based RESTful services, Angular user interfaces, and reusable UI components with Storybook while implementing configuration-driven forms to improve maintainability and consistency. Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, manage database schema changes with Liquibase, and develop cloud-native solutions in Azure. Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak, ensuring secure access across application layers. Collaborate with development leadership, product managers, UX designers, and fellow developers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences backed by reliable, maintainable services, leveraging GitLab CI/CD and modern software engineering practices. Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and troubleshooting complex production issues.
Essential Functions:
  • Stay up to date on assigned specialties, work on expanding to others.
  • Work in full life-cycle software engineering project environment.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, implement unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality.
  • Bring new ideas, tools, services, and techniques to the group.
  • Use analytical thinking to make decisions based on facts and metrics whenever possible.
  • Be willing to step up and lead initiatives at, or slightly above your title.
  • Develop and follow ICF coding standards.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and accept new challenges within and outside of team.
  • Foster asynchronous communication approaches and thrive in remote working environment.
  • Expected to own smaller efforts and components of larger projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience using Java, Angular, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and Azure.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions using Keycloak or similar technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US
  • Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years

Preferred Skills:
  • Angular Developer Certification preferred
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or equivalent experience.
  • Working experience in Azure Cloud
