Our organization is in search of a Radiologist to provide Remote Locum coverage in Kentucky. Here are some key details:

  • Shifts generally last 8 hours, occurring on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Preferred shift times are from 9 AM to 5 PM CT.
  • Multiple weekends are available each month.
  • Modalities include CT, ultrasound, plain films, MRI, and occasionally nuclear medicine.
  • Experience with interpreting CT Brain Perfusion is advantageous.
  • Expected volume is between 13-15 reads per hour, totaling over 100 reads during an 8-hour shift.
  • A typical 8-hour shift includes approximately 15 CT scans, 65 plain films, 7 ultrasounds, some MRIs, and a few nuclear medicine cases.
  • A workstation will be provided for your use.
  • Temporary privileges may be available, requiring an active Kentucky license, a clean background check, and timely completion of a credentialing packet.
