Kumon Math And Reading Center Of Virginia Beach Hilltop in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for classroom assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Classroom assistant for Kumon Center of Hilltop

Do you like a fast-paced work environment? Do you like working with kids? Kumon, the world's largest after-school enrichment program, seeks energetic Part-time Math and Reading Assistants for the Virginia Beach-Hilltop center's after-school math and reading program.

Responsibilities include:

-Assisting students (pre-school through high school) with Math and Reading

-Grading math & reading worksheets

-Light administrative duties

* Knowledge of Kumon Method is preferred but not required

* Experience in a paid or non-paid job working with kids including teachers aide, tutoring, coach, etc is preferred

* Proficiency in HS Math (Alg II and/or Calc) and/or HS English/Writing is a plus

Skills Include:

  • Strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and multi-task
