SAP Functional & Technical Expert With Accounting/Finance Understanding

Duration: 6 weeks -02/12/2024 to 03/29/2024, potential to extend another few weeks

Team Structure:

  • Report to Mark Pociask, Managing Director and Wieke Hartono, Director - CFO Advisory
  • Also work with their System Integrator, PwC

SAP S/4HANA: Enterprise resource planning software for large enterprises. Enables the centralizing of hardware and network resources, and serves as the digital core for business process simplification, by harnessing the power of its HANA in-memory database.

Overview:

  • Their tax team just went live with SAP S/4HANA private cloud. They need an SAP expert to assist them with functional and report testing of SAP S/4 HANA being configured and developed by the systems implementer (PwC).
  • Specific scope relates to tax (international, federal, state and local, sales and use, etc.) and transfer pricing.
  • They will support client service delivery, engagement execution, and digital transformation adoption within the Finance department.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP Professional
  • SAP functional and technical understanding (t-codes, report logic, data sources, etc.) of SD, MM, FI intercompany and CO including costing
  • General understanding of finance and accounting - General ledgers, trail balance, consolidation structures, reporting, cost accounting which is part of transfer pricing, etc.
