What is a Liveflow specialist?

A Liveflow specialist is a professional who is skilled in using Liveflow, a financial automation tool that connects accounting platforms like QuickBooks with spreadsheets such as Google Sheets. They help organizations automate financial reporting, streamline data workflows, and ensure real-time access to financial metrics. Liveflow specialists often collaborate with finance teams to customize reports, maintain data accuracy, and improve overall efficiency in financial processes. Their expertise enables businesses to save time, reduce manual errors, and make informed decisions based on up-to-date financial information.

What are some common challenges faced by Liveflow specialists when integrating financial data from multiple sources?

Liveflow specialists often encounter challenges such as dealing with inconsistent data formats, ensuring data security, and maintaining real-time accuracy when integrating financial information from various platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel. Effective communication with finance teams and IT departments is essential to troubleshoot connectivity issues and customize reports to meet business needs. Staying updated with the latest features and best practices in cloud-based financial automation also helps specialists deliver optimal solutions while minimizing disruptions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Liveflow specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a LiveFlow Specialist, you need a strong background in accounting or finance, experience with spreadsheet management, and familiarity with financial reporting processes. Proficiency in using LiveFlow, Google Sheets, and possibly other accounting platforms like QuickBooks or Xero is typically required, along with relevant certifications such as CPA or bookkeeping credentials. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills help you interpret financial data and collaborate with clients or teams. These skills ensure the accurate automation, analysis, and presentation of financial information, leading to better decision-making and streamlined workflow.

Job description

Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

About LiveFlow

LiveFlow is building the next-generation accounting and finance platform — enabling lean finance teams to run massive enterprises.

We’ve raised over $21M from top-tier investors including YC, YC Continuity, Valar, Seedcamp, WndrCo, Moonfire, and Bradley Horowitz (VP Product, Google).

Today, thousands of companies rely on LiveFlow to streamline their financial workflows, with hundreds of 5/5 ratings on G2.

Our founding team previously worked at Revolut, one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs.

Why Join Us

This is not a typical graduate role.

At LiveFlow, you won’t be working on isolated tickets or internal-only projects. You’ll contribute to real product features from day one and see your work shipped to customers quickly.

We’re looking for engineers who are curious, ambitious, and want to accelerate their growth in a fast-moving environment. You should be excited by early ownership, steep learning curves, and building things that matter.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, as well as product and design, and quickly build both technical depth and product intuition.

The Role

We’re hiring Graduate Engineers to help build AI agents that power the next generation of LiveFlow.

This is a full-stack role at its core, with exposure to designing and developing agent-driven systems embedded throughout the product.

You don’t need prior industry experience — but you do need strong fundamentals, high curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly.

What You’ll Work On
  • Learning how finance teams operate and identifying opportunities to improve their workflows
  • Building product features across the stack alongside experienced engineers
  • Contributing to AI agent workflows that simplify and automate complex tasks Sorry, but ask to re-check.----
