Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Type: 6-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and supporting critical workstreams within a broader program of work to deliver the end-state Target Operating Model for the company. They will oversee the delivery of successful business transitions and integration efforts across people, process, technology, and real estate components. They will manage direct and indirect resources across geographically dispersed locations, interact comfortably with senior leadership, and independently drive strategic change initiatives to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-faceted project workstreams—encompassing people, process, technology, and real estate—to establish the Target Operating Model.
  • Communicate multiple project activities, milestones, and deliverables to key management colleagues and cross-functional team members across various geographic regions.
  • Lead complex finance workstreams, specifically focusing on acquisition transitions, integrations, and operational alignments.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects concurrently using standardized implementation toolkits and migration schedules.
  • Design and develop strategic artifacts, including business cases, initial assessments, communication plans, and detailed project execution schedules.
  • Present regular project status updates, risk assessments, and strategic proposals to senior-level finance management and regional stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues, escalating critical impacts to business leadership in a timely manner.
  • Lead decision-making processes, problem-solving sessions, and steering committee alignment for assigned programs.
  • Enforce strict adherence to project controls, risk management frameworks, and formal change control processes across all assigned initiatives.
  • Direct and influence matrixed, indirect, and remote teams across various regional offices to maintain schedule momentum.
  • Facilitate engaging, professional remote meetings and workshops (including active video leadership on Zoom) with executive presence.
  • Act as a central point of contact between local and regional senior stakeholders to balance competing priorities and maintain strategic focus.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience within large, complex corporate environments (Insurance or Financial Services preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience handling multiple and complex projects.
  • Background in larger/complex organizations (faster ramp-up preferred)Self-motivated, quick learner who asks probing questions and drives objectives to conclusion with minimal supervision.
  • High confidence interacting with, presenting to, and influencing senior and executive-level leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience managing finance workstreams, with explicit experience supporting acquisitions, transitions, and integrations.

  • Comfortable leading Zoom meetings (camera on).
