The General IT Programmer/Analyst Sr is responsible for complex workflow development, system configuration and development, innovative application deployment, production support, and participation in on-call coverage as needed.

  • Support for several enterprise applications including Microsoft M365, AD (Active Directory), Azure, paging, faxing, and email.
  • Support for large conference rooms
  • Responsible for various security and authentication workflows such as SSO, Entra, PIM (Privileged Identity Management) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
  • Process and implement approved change requests within established service level agreements
  • Respond to assigned system incidents within defined standards, providing support and helping prevent recurrence of issues
  • Serve as a team member or team leader on projects ranging from stand-alone applications to large-scale initiatives
  • Provide estimates for complex work efforts and produce system design documentation, procedures, process flows, and data flows
  • Recommend system enhancements and replacements based on technical and business needs
  • Provide back-up assistance to team members and mentor programmer analysts in development, implementation, and issue resolution
  • Plan, schedule, assign, coordinate, and review tasks performed by team members
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities and meeting organizational goals
  • Promote Premier Health IT policies, procedures, and practices related to change management, incident handling, and service level agreements
  • Deliver cost-effective, secure, high-quality solutions that drive customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate software and hardware products and make recommendations to improve operations and processes
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation as required to support critical clinical and business operations

  • Associate Degree in IT or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experienced IT analysts without an Associate degree are encouraged to apply if they meet the experience requirement

      *Years of experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

  • 3-5 years of job-related experience required
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • Experience working with AD, Exchange, M365 and Azure at an enterprise level
  • Experience with authentication strategies: SSO, Entra, PIM, MFA
  • Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex system integration problems
  • Proficiency in facilitating application and system enhancements or replacements
  • Expert understanding of clinical and/or business operations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
  • Experience leading complex projects and collaborating across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision
