We are the leader in creating dynamic Truly Custom Solutions for every room in our clientsโ€™ homes.ย ย As a Design Consultant, you will be able to design custom closets, pantries, home offices, entertainment centers, wall beds, garages, and much more.ย We are here to provide solutions for each of our clientโ€™s organizational, aesthetic and budgetary needs.ย ย 

Our designers sell directly to homeowners.ย  Closet Factory will provide pre-set qualified leads to you within your self-set schedule.ย  However, self-generated leads are a requirement as well.ย  We are a hard-working company, and we are seeking to further improve our performance with like-minded team players.ย

Design Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Client management from initial appointment to installation
  • Maintain client notes/follow-up in Salesforce
  • Take accurate measurements of spaces andย create functional designs
  • Create and nurture long term relationships with clients to earn repeat business and referrals
  • Build a referral network to develop new business

Specific Requirements:

  • 2+ years Sales Experience
  • Home improvement, in-home sales experience a plus
  • Project Management Experience
  • Computer Skills โ€“ Mandatory
  • Current Laptop computer
  • Must possess solid math skills
  • Detail / Deadline Oriented โ€“ Mandatory
  • Self-starter that can work independently
  • Creative Thinker / Able to Visualize
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Must be Customer Service Oriented / Diverse Clientele
  • Must Be Trainable / Coachable โ€“ Mandatory

Education:

  • High School Diploma โ€“ required
  • BS in Interior Design a plus
  • Interior Design accreditation a plus
  • Professional Organizer accreditation a plus
