Position Summary

Aalis Management Consulting seeks a highly qualified Infrastructure Project Manager to support a Federal Agency by managing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and physical infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring complex deployment initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established performance objectives.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with government stakeholders, and provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, issues, and milestones. This role requires a strong background in project management methodologies, infrastructure deployment, and federal program support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT infrastructure and/or physical infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Track and report project scope, schedule, cost, and performance metrics.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate meetings and problem-solving discussions with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and management teams.
  • Prepare executive briefings, dashboards, and presentations for government leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and lifecycle methodologies.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize project management and reporting tools to monitor progress and communicate outcomes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, facilities, or capital improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and issues.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Project Management Professional certification.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies in healthcare, engineering, facilities, or construction environments.
