Job Summary:

The Project Specialist (PS) is responsible for managing complex strategic projects and collaborating closely with both internal and external partners to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient resource allocation, and successful execution across the full lifecycle of projects. Project Specialists must maintain high project management standards, deliver quality service to clients, and demonstrate the ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner with a strong client-focused ethos.

Job Responsibilities:

Legal Process Execution:

  • Follows guidance from project managers and counsel while applying legal expertise to make informed decisions and resolve issues.

Project Coordination & Communication:

  • Participates in meetings, shares updates, and collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to support project goals.

Documentation & Client Interaction

  • Reviews and prepares internal and client-facing documentation.
  • Responds to complex inquiries from claimants and clients.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

  • Develops and monitors production reports and quality checks.
  • Supports service excellence and transparency.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Supports onboarding, peers training, and assists with issue resolution and scripting updates.

Performance & Productivity

  • Exceeds billable targets through prioritization and quality delivery.
Job Requirements:
  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school or a foreign law degree with an LLM is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients and quickly understand complex legal and operational concepts, with proven experience handling intricate claims and issue resolution.
  • Active, unrestricted license in good standing from at least one U.S. jurisdiction preferred.
  • Project or program management involving global stakeholders and full project lifecycle support preferred.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new and existing technical systems, including those provided by Epiq or external partners.

The Compensation range for this role is $34.00 to $42.00 USD hourly and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
