Job description

Coordinate, prioritize, negotiate and manage the execution of assigned projects and contracts. Lead the analysis, project identification, budget, communication and integration, and approve business workflow and project design. Partner with business leaders to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken within multiple market and product segments. Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and ensure timely launch and resolve distribution issues associated with accounts. Perform feasibility needs analysis to determine project timelines and assess business needs, Project Manager capabilities and available project budgets. Apply structured processes set for engaging individuals and organizations through change to achieve and sustain business results and outcomes. Develop resource (expense and headcount) plans using project resource management tools and processes to manage resources effectively. Monitor project success measures and evaluate the status of specific projects and assignments. Formulate marketing and sales policies to promote products or services by applying comprehensive knowledge of the engine business and marketplace to advance the organization's marketing goals. Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. Develop revenue and prime margin metrics, and manage spending AOP budgets, financial controls, and risk ensuring operations are executed efficiently and within established budgets. Utilize knowledge of Project Scope Management to manage a list of project deliverables to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully. Collect and assess customer data from internal and external sources and compare against historical data to determine useful inputs and create a forecast of future consumption patterns. Develop, lead and motivate project management staff, and set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Coach and mentor Project Management Managers and Project Managers. Delegate assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs, and provide developmental feedback to team members.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or Entrepreneurship, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Project, Marketing or Strategy Manager, Quality or Materials Engineer, or related position. Experience to include:  Change Management; New Product Introduction (NPI); Develop marketing and sales policies to advance the organization's marketing goals; Market trend analysis; Project Resource Management tools and processes; Sales forecasting to determine future consumption patterns; Develop revenue and prime margin metrics; Manage spending AOP budgets; Project Scope Management.
