Position Overview

Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in providing exceptional mental health services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment progress and address any concerns.
• Develop and share progress tracking plans with supervisors that detail upcoming appointments, home visits, and observation sessions.
• Organize and conduct home visits as required, which may include in-home observations, reviewing client charts, and interviewing family members.
• Ensure the implementation of treatment strategies aligns with established best practices, providing guidance to junior staff where necessary.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings on a regular basis to discuss client needs and share insights for improved care delivery.
• Complete detailed monthly and quarterly reports evaluating client progress and overall effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Coordinate training sessions to enhance team members' abilities in executing program strategies and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Perform follow-ups through interviews and ongoing observations to confirm that clients' needs are consistently met.
• Maintain organized client records, ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible to authorized personnel.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, assisting individuals in achieving their developmental goals.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of individual programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a diverse client base that includes adults and youth, providing support for a range of mental health issues. We particularly focus on individuals facing challenges such as trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, ideally within a mental health setting.
• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care are strongly preferred.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a community health clinic setting or those who have worked with interdisciplinary teams will be given preference.
